Madrid Derby - Copa Del Rey

Two goals to zero, two goals to too; these are the results for Madrid derby in first and second legs.
As expected, Real Madrid started the game with an incredible pressure, just like Barcelona, but Diego Simeone was the man. His 3-1 loss to Barcelona taught him a lesson about how to treat the high pressure against giants.

In the first half after 45 seconds from the referee's whistle, neither Pepe nor ramos could stand in front of Torres scored the first goal for Atletico Madrid after great assist from Griezmann just behind Ramos, and contradicted all the expectations to made the aggregate score 3-0 against Real Madrid, but Real Madrid still had 89 minutes of playing, so they could have made the difference.

The scorer defender; Ramos; always scores headers in big matches, and he did so against Oblak and made the score 1-1, and the hope still alive for the Whites.

Real Madrid made very high pressure around Oblak's net, but the defensive side of Atletico was really tough and too hard to score through! Real Madrid made some passes, shots and crosses all over the first half, but they could not score after Ramos' header.

In the second half everyone expected Real Madrid with higher pressure than they made in the first half, but the defensive mistake and the wrong pass from Ramos again let Torres score the second goal for Atletico within the first minute of the second half also assisted by Griezmann, and this one was the killer stab for Real Madrid!

They had tried and tried until Ronaldo beat all the defenders to jump and scored a header to make it 2-2. The unexpected thing that Atletico Madrid could make some chances and were too close to expand the difference, and the Royal Team lost the spirit of win too early. Defensive mistakes could have cost them at least two other goals.

The good thing for football fans that Fernando Torres (El Nino) back to scoring after long time of absence with Chelsea and AC Milan. The net missed him.

Now Atletico Madrid will face Barcelona again, but this time in the quarter final stage after beating Elche with five in first leg and four in the second leg. Simeone may learned his lesson and will eliminate Barcelona just like Real Madrid and go through the cup, and Enrique might have the solution for Atletico's puzzle again and use Messi to steal their balance again.
